i love these beautiful vintage covers of Vogue, British Vogue and Bazaar magazine. i was visiting Ruby Press blog and i discovered this awesome website, Fashion-Iconography. i love looking at and collecting old vintage covers. the cover pages were always so elegant. here are my favorite covers i gathered together.

I'm a HUGE fan of vintage fashion magazine covers, too. Not sure if you've heard of this, but there's a Vogue Poster Book that is definitely worth trying to get a copy of. It's full of Vogue covers from the 1910's & 1920's - when illustrations were still used. I have framed about 8 of the images & have them on my bedroom walls.
So glad you like too! ;) I collected vintage magazines for years but it just got out of hand. Looking at the covers on that website is a good substitute!!
Beautiful selection of covers ~ what I would do to have every one of these with the magazine intact ~ imagine spending hours pouring through these fabulous pages documenting the fashion statements of the past. I actually had the Vogue Poster book mentioned by "Down Pillow" years ago. Sadly,I lost track of it after moving 5 or 6 times, but I framed a couple for my sister and she still has them.
